January 13 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Attend the Goodhue County Historical Society’s Annual Meeting to learn about the successes of the previous year and hear a guest speaker.  Admission is free.  The meeting is open the public but only current members may vote during the business meeting.

This year’s guest speaker will be Teddy Roosevelt, portrayed by Adam Lindquist.  The 26th President will discuss the legacy of the National Parks in the United States.

Theodore Roosevelt is perhaps one of the most colorful and accomplished President’s America ever produced.  His accomplishments include a change in foreign policy that placed the US as a world power, a domestic policy that protected the population from food poisoning from Packing plants and bad drugs, to the protection of over 230 Million Acres of public lands we know as National Parks, National Monuments, wildlife refuges and National Forests.

Join us as we meet Teddy Roosevelt and he shares the amazing story of his life and legacy. Three time National Champion Theodore Roosevelt living history performer Adam Lindquist will bring to life this amazing man for our enjoyment.  Afterwards his presentation will be a question and answer opportunity as well as a chance to have your photo taken with our 26th President.
