Linda Flanders is the current Goodhue County Commissioner for District 1. She works for HOPE Coalition and her prior career was as a police inspector with the San Francisco Police Department. Linda began the Mighty Mississippi Clean-Up Challenge in 2022 when she discovered the Mississippi was #6 on the Most Endangered River’s list. She has been working to grow this clean up effort throughout Minnesota river counties and will be telling the story of how this initiative began and where it is today.
