Stanton Airfield Tour

Meet the Goodhue County Historical Society at the Stanton Airfield for a guided tour of this site, which has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places for its role in World War II Flight Training (1942 – 1944). Participants will learn about flight training, how the airfield earned its rightful place on the National Register of Historic Places, and view a few airplanes.

Participants are responsible for transportation to and from the Stanton Airfield. Contact the Goodhue County Historical Society (651.388.6024) to purchase your tickets or stop by in person. Registration for this tour is required before the tour date. $7 for GCHS members and $10 for non-members. This tour is in conjunction with the temporary exhibit Minneola and Stanton Township now on view at the Goodhue County History Center.
