September 8 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

$7 – $10

The Goodhue County Historical Society presents a relaunch of an old tour, Walk into Local History: Back Alley Tour which explores Downtown Red Wing from the alleys. Fred Johnson initially wrote this tour in 2014. The Goodhue County Historical Society has adopted and adjusted this tour of Red Wing for your enjoyment. The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and tickets must be purchased through the Goodhue County Historical Society prior to September 8.

Tours will take place at 10 AM and 1 PM. Meet the group at John Rich Park. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water with you. From the park we will walk through the alley between Third and Main Streets, parking lot site of the Sickles Shoe Factory, alley between Third and Fourth Streets, alley between Plum and Bush Streets, and finally, the T.B. Sheldon Memorial Auditorium.
