Planned Giving
Preserving Our Future
In 1869, when a group of civic-minded citizens came together to form the Old Settlers Association, Goodhue County was still young. Even then, however, they knew the importance of preserving the past for the betterment of the future. By understanding our shared past, we can build a better tomorrow, drawing on the strengths that have seen us through to this point and raising concerned, thoughtful citizens.
A planned gift does the same thing. It takes the resources that you have and uses them for the future. Planned gifts can be made in many ways and you can tailor your gift for your purposes.
Some gifts can include:
- Cash
- Charitable Remainder
- Trusts
- Estate Gifts
- Life Insurance
- Retirement Plan
- Assets
- Real Estate
- Securities
Our policy is to put planned gifts into our endowment fund at The Saint Paul Foundation so that we can derive ongoing income from your generosity. Your lawyer or financial planner can help you with the best plan for you. Or you can contact Mariah Brook at The Saint Paul Foundation at Mariah.brook@spmcf.org or 800-875-6167.
